User guide to assemble Flatpack Traditional Kandil

STEP 1

Find 4 identical pieces inside the envelop.

 

STEP 2

Fold all the pieces on the creasing lines. Ensure Collar flaps are at the top & bottom of Kandil.

 

STEP 3

Stick / Staple the slip-flaps to join all the pieces to each other.

STEP 4

Put the wire through the hole of the MDF plate & fix a bulb holder & a LED bulb (preferably warm white) with the holder.

STEP 5

Insert the MDF plates from top & bottom to get a sturdy structure.

STEP 6

Make sure that it doesn’t touch any of the paper surfaces from inside.

STEP 7

Stick the strips on the lower surface to get a complete look of the kandil.

 

STEP 8

Hang it in your balcony/ terrace/ outside the front door and let the Diwali celebration begin!

Instructions/ Precautions
  • In case you prefer any other colour paper instead of the given white paper, please change it at Step 1.
  • To make the Kandil reusable, use stapling pins instead of sticking tape.
  • For more sturdiness; strength, it is advised to stick the MDF plates to the Collar flaps from inside once the complete assembly is done.

  • Paper Surfaces - 4 nos.
  • Paper Strips - 16 nos.
  • MDF Plates - 2 nos.
  • Lamp Material: Handmade Paper Dimensions (when assembled) Approx. 14” (L) x 14” (W) x 29-30” (H)
